OF THE NEWMANSTOWN WATER AUTHORITY,

COUNTY OF LEBANON, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA

TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE COUNTY OF LEBANON, PENNSYLVANIA:

TAKE NOTICE that the Newmanstown Water Authority, County of Lebanon, pursuant to the Municipalities Authorities Act have adopted a resolution, Resolution 2024 – 05, on November 15, 2024 to amend its Articles of Incorporation. In compliance with the Act, the Authority hereby advertises such Amendment as follows:

WHEREAS, The name and location of the Registered Office of the Newmanstown Water Authority is 30 Avenue “A”, P.O. Box 247, Newmanstown, PA 17073-0247.

WHEREAS, the Newmanstown Water Authority, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania was formed under the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, as amended, pursuant to Articles of Incorporation approved and filed with the Department of State of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on October 31, 1966.

WHEREAS, the Newmanstown Water Authority, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, adopted a Resolution amending the Articles of Incorporation to decrease the minimum number of members of the Board from nine (9) members to seven (7) members, which amendment is authorized and permitted by section 5601 (a)(4) of the Authorities Act.

It is the intention of the Amendment of the Articles of Incorporation and supporting documents to be filed with the Pennsylvania Department of State after March 3, 2025.
