NOTICE OF AUTHORITY FORMATION

 

Notice is hereby given that on October 23, 2012, Palmyra Borough Council, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, enacted an ordinance in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Authorities Act (the “Authorities Act”) authorizing the formation of Palmyra Borough Municipal Authority (the “Authority”). The purpose of the Authority is to undertake such other projects as its board may deem advisable. The Articles of Incorporation set forth the name of the Authority; provide that the Authority is being incorporated under the Authorities Act; identify other municipal authorities formed by the Borough as required by the Authorities Act; set forth the name of the incorporating municipality and its officers; set forth the names, addresses and terms of office of the first members of the Board of the Authority; and provide other matters necessary for its incorporation. The Authority Board shall be composed of five members appointed by Borough Council. In accordance with the requirements of the Authorities Act, notice is hereby given that the Borough shall file Articles of Incorporation of the proposed Authority with the Secretary of the Commonwealth on or after November 26, 2012.
