PA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES NOTICE

 

Department of Environmental Protection’s (PA DEP) Residual Waste Regulations require the sponsor of any permit renewal to notify and allow the general public to comment on the proposed permit renewal. Waste Recovery Solutions, Inc, (WRS) is filing an application for permit renewal with the DEP South Central Regional Office located at 909 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17110. The permit covers operations occurring at 343 King Street, Myerstown, Jackson Township, Lebanon County, PA. This application will not change the current practices of processing, comingling and transferring of nonhazardous wastes to end disposal facilities.

 

Copies of the permit renewal application will be available for review at the PA DEP South Central Regional Office. The host municipality and county may submit comments to the Department within 60 days of receipt of the completed application recommending conditions upon, revisions to and approval or disapproval of the permit, with specific reasons described in the comments.

 

The Department will accept comments from the general public within 60 days from the time the Department receives the application.
