INTENTION TO FILE ARTICLES OF AMENDMENT

Notice is hereby given by the Heidelberg Township Municipal Authority of its intention to file

Articles of Amendment with the Secretary of the Commonwealth on July 18, 2024. The

registered office of the Heidelberg Township Municipal Authority is located at 111 Mill Road,

Schaefferstown, PA 17088. The Articles of Amendment are to be filed under the provisions of

53 Pa.C.S. § 5605, related to the amendment of articles of municipal authorities. The proposed

amendment will add a provision to the articles of incorporation to increase the term of existence

of the Heidelberg Township Municipal Authority to a date fifty (50) years from the date of

approval of the Articles of Amendment. The proposed amendment will also add a provision

authorizing the Heidelberg Township Municipal Authority to act as a stormwater authority and

to engage in projects related to stormwater planning, management, and implementation, and to

operate stormwater controls and/or flood control projects.
